Sprawl Steam Deck Review

SPRAWL is a hardcore retro FPS set in an endless cyberpunk megalopolis. You play as SEVEN, a disgraced special ops super soldier who must escape the walled city and take on the militarized government of the sprawl.

Sprawl is inspired by the old school shooters like Doom and Quake but they way added elements such wall running and the slow down bullet time to their mixture of gameplay makes it so much fun and hard to put down. The hordes of enemies on each level could be challenging as you need to use your slow down bullet time adrenaline smartly as it runs out if you hold it long enough.

Visually you can play with the current modern take of the retro style FPS or with the classic retro mode style.

Sprawl Steam Deck Performance

I have CryoUtilities installed on my Deck with my Steam Deck framerate and refresh rate locked to 60.

Sprawl Steam Deck 60

I was able to get a solid 60fps experience on the Steam Deck which is perfect for a fast paced shooter like this where you need to react quick to the multiple of enemies on the screen.
