ArcRunner is a Cyberpunk styled roguelite third person shooter where you get to play solo or with two friends against evil AI gone rogue.
During each run you get to select from three characters with different attributes and abilities for specific playstyles, The Soldier, The Ninja and The Hacker who needs to be unlocked. If you want a stronger character that could take and deal more damage go with the Soldier, if you want to play faster and have a blade as your melee weapon go with the Ninja.
Killing enemies will drop weapons and gadgets on the ground with different damage attributes so make sure to pick up the right stuff. After completing a wave you will enter a cryochamber where you will be able to upgrade augmentations for your character.
Die and upgrade your character before your next run with the nanites points you gained from your previous run.
ArcRunner Steam Deck Performance
Our in game settings could be found on our side bar to the right of this article (if you’re on desktop) or at the bottom of this article (if you’re on mobile).
I have CryoUtilities installed on my Deck, my Steam Deck performance frame limit and refresh rate set to 40 with my recommended in game settings. This gave me a locked 40fps with close to two hours of battery life. Although its not Steam Deck verified, the game looks and runs great on the Steam Deck making this a go to game on the Deck.
