Planet Of Lana Steam Deck Review

Planet of Lana is a cinematic puzzle adventure game where you play as a young girl on a rescue mission after cold machines and unfamiliar creatures kidnap your friend and people in your community.

As you progress through the game you meet up with Mui, a cat who becomes your companion through out the story helping you solve puzzles and navigate through dangerous situations with companion based gameplay.

Pressing the B button keeps Mui in place, holding B button calls for Mui to follow you. Holding the Right Trigger can direct the cat to a specific area. All these cues help you navigate through the puzzle adventure.

The combination of the hand painted art style graphics and engaging gameplay make this one of the most impressive games to play on the Steam Deck. It’s really a fun and unique experience that I highly recommend playing.

Planet Of Lana Steam Deck Performance

This game is Steam Deck verified so it runs pretty well out the box. I have CryoUtilities installed on my Deck with my Steam Deck performance frame limit and refresh rate set to 60. My in game graphic settings are set to Medium.

With these settings I managed to get a near locked 60fps through out the game with three hours of battery life.

If you want to play at High settings, you can lock your frame limit and refresh rate at 40fps to get a solid smooth experience with better visuals.

Thank you to Plan Of Attack for sending me a review key.
